Recipe Tuesday

Homemade BBQ Sauce -- a favorite in this household!

In a 2 -3 quart pot, over medium heat, add:

1/4 cup olive oil and 4 cloves minced garlic. Stir until golden (about 4 minutes)

Stir in (stir well)
~ 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
~ 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
~ 1/2 cup chicken broth
~ 1/4 cup tomato paste
~ 3tbsp. soy sauce
~ 2tsp. dry mustard

Bring to a boil and then reduce heat to medium. Heat until reduced (about 15 minutes).

YUM! That sounds super good. Can you freeze it when you make a big batch?
